Guadalupe Gaytan (she/her) was born and raised in Pontiac, Michigan. At about ten years old, Guadalupe knew she had a passion for dance. At the age of thirteen she began her dance training at Mt. Zion School of Performing Arts, where she enrolled in various styles of dance such as ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop. During her senior year of high school Guadalupe knew she wanted to continue developing her skill in knowledge in dance leading her to pursue a bachelors degree in dance at Oakland University. During her time at Oakland University, she had the opportunity to teach and choreograph both at Oakland University and her home studio, while also having the opportunity to perform collegiate pieces. She is excited to continue exploring her passion for dance once she graduates with her BA from Oakland University.
